Do you have free computer access?Yes. "Express" machines are availabe for all visitors for 15 minute sessions. No library card required. Additional computers are available to members for 60 minute sessions starting on the hour. A library card is required. Reservations are accepted and encouraged up to a day ahead. Wireless access is free to all. Printing is available for all computers users at 25 cents per page. |
Who can get a library card?Massachusetts Residents Adults may obtain an Edgartown Public Library card with Massachusetts ID. If you do not have a Massachuetts driver's license or liquor license, we will accept a rental lease with a 7-month or longer committment. A child may obtain an Edgartown Public Library card with permission from a legal guardian that has proof of residency. Non-Massachusetts Residents Anyone who is listed as a property owner in the Martha's Vineyard Times list of propery values or who can show proof of ownership is entitled to a free library membership. Any non-Massachusetts resident who does not own property on Martha's Vineyard may purchase an Edgartown Public Library card for an annual fee of $10.
