LIBRARY ART COLLECTIONOver the years, the Edgartown Library has acquired an extensive collection of paintings and prints, many of them with Island and New England subjects. Some of these works of art were individual gifts, and others were whole collections; the most extensive is the Charles S. Simpson Collection, which comprises some three dozen paintings. We are in the process of documenting this collection digitally, and will be adding images to the website regularly. Please come back again for a virtual tour!
