Grab your clue sheet from the Children’s room desk and find all the animals with their babies hidden around the room. Turn in your completed clue sheet for a prize!

Every Monday our program room will be open for music-based play and fun. There will be instruments available to try, and props to encourage movement. Geared toward ages 1-5 but all are welcome!

Learn how to cook something delicious with Maria every Monday! Each week Maria will teach kids how to cook something new in the library's kitchen. For ages 8 and up.
Tuesdays

Drop in and use the library’s collection of paints to create a masterpiece each week. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Wednesdays

Join us for a new craft every week. Geared toward ages 1-5, but all are welcome.

Kids can get their bodies moving on the library lawn, weather permitting. This after-school youth fitness program will offer healthy activities incorporating simple cardio, agility, and mind over matter drills. No registration necessary. For kids 8 and older.
This program has been generously funded by the Friends of the Edgartown Free Public Library.

Join Elyce in the Program Room for a movement-based storytime using fun props and interactive stories. This program is geared toward ages 1-5, but all are welcome. No registration required.
Fridays

Join us for this new program focused on promoting physical health for young children. Led by Abbey Entner, we will start with opening stretches and movement, then open play with tumble toys and music. Geared toward ages 1-5 but all are welcome.
Saturdays
11am - 11:45am
This class, taught by early childhood expert Jenna Robichau, focuses on transitioning beyond basic movement patterns. Timing, rhythms, and weights of movement will teach children to self-regulate their bodies and find balance. Geared toward ages 3-5, but all are welcome.
The Edgartown Library and Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation have partnered to bring you a story walk every month.
This self-guided activity takes place at the Sheriff's Meadow Sanctuary and is for children of all ages and their caregivers.
Board Game & Activity Stations - Come check out the board game and activity stations in the Children's Room. We've got classic games like chess and Candy Land, as well as fun tabletop games like Llamanoes. Activities include puzzles, coloring pages, and more.
After School Crafting - The Children's Room is open every day after school for open crafting time! There will be all sorts of crafting supplies available for kids to make any artful creations that come to mind.
